Death

Death is a Spirit. He is a product of sin from the Garden of Eden. He broke the covenant of earthly immortality upon men. Death had only one mission; to kill and destroy the soul of men in eternal hell fire. He had been successful fulfilling this mission from generation to generation. Many destinies, personalities, prophets etc. Except Enoch whom God took and Elijah who was taken by the chariot of fire fell victim of him.
About 2000 plus years ago, a man came into history and changed the mission of death. To death, his mission remains to kill to destruction but unknown to him Jesus became sin who knew no sin. An immortal being who put on mortality. He came among men and gave himself to death.
Hahahahaha Death must have rejoiced. He was buried but since his immortality still remains in him and spirits do not die; he fought death and swallowed him up in victory.
" O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
He defeated death and set loosed those in his captivity. He rose the third day and ascended to his father. Death could not hold him captive; even in the grave Jesus remains the Lord.
Ignorantly to death, his mission became two. To kill and to transit. Death will kill everyone until rapture. This is the first death. Not everyone partake in the second death. Some men can't die the second death as the first death is to transit them to the glorious Jerusalem where they enjoy eternal rest and peace. Death has ignorantly become a tool for them to fulfil their destiny in eternity.
These set of people are no longer afraid of death. Age, earthly achievements, wealth, pleasures etc. Matters no more because they know they can die at any time and they are ready. They know their life isn't theirs and the owner can come for it at any time. They are ready to meet Jesus even if he appears today. They have died and resurrected with Christ Jesus.
Beloved, some people are born just to die. Jesus came to die, Judas came to betray Jesus and die, John the Baptist came to prepare the way for Jesus and he died. The most important thing is not the age, time, way you die but to fulfil your purpose. If Hezekiah had died when God sent for him, he would have died a perfect man.
Death rejoices when he kills them because he leaves their families and friends in lasting pain. Those people are gone but happy because they have left this horrible world for a glorious Jerusalem.
Everyone is not suppose to grow old but everyone is suppose to fulfill their purpose. An unfulfilled life is a killed life.
Those who actually die are people without Jesus. Death kills them and transit them to hell fire. They die the second death and live in eternal pain. They rejected the man who have power over death. Who will fight for the victory of their soul like the Lord did for Moses? These are people who have put all their hope on earthly treasures but have forsaken the engrafted word of God which can save their souls. Death rejoices over them.
Ohh how I wish my people can see how powerless death becomes when they accept Jesus and allow God use them for his purpose.
Accept the man who changed the mission of death, honour and obey his word. Live life like death will come today, because with Jesus your victory over death is sure.
